Founded in 1985 as a subsidiary of Peterborough Carpet Land, Whelan's Flooring Centre has grown to become the premier retail flooring store in Peterborough, Lindsay and the Kawarthas.
In 2009, our flooring company was a finalist for commercial restoration/renovation in the Peterborough Business Excellence Awards for the complete transformation we made to our Chemong Road location. The showroom is absolutely stunning, matched equally by the new exterior of the building.
In the last few years Whelan's has also picked up several Examiner Reader's Choice Awards, 2018 Consumer Choice Award Winner, and most recently, we won the 2019 Service Sector Excellence award at the Kawartha Chamber of Commerce awards ceremony.
